Blackberry Tweet via iPhone Catches Attention


Folks at Canada-based mobile manufacturing company, BlackBerry, are definitely having an awkward day after the company’s official Twitter feed just received a tweet via iPhone, i.e. its top competitor, on January 13, 2015, at 11:08 am. Even though the tweet was deleted immediately after it was posted, the damage had been done.

The message posted on Tuesday afternoon promoted the new BlackBerry Classic phone and urged consumers to “keep up with the conversation” on Twitter, accompanying a lovely looking photo of the BlackBerry Classic.

RIM Almost Hits the Lowest Rate of Its Shares in 2 Years, Facing the Recalls of Some Playbooks

Research In Motion has almost reached such low shares that it might be their lowest in the past two-year, as seen on Monday after the company received almost a thousand of its Playbook tablet computers back due a problem in its operating system. The Canada-based company was already suffering hardly in the past few months, as it tried not to disappoint its frustrated investors due to their slashing sales. RIM has now made an ambitious announcement declaring that the next batch of the device, having the storage capacity of 16 GB, will be shipped with "an OS build that may result in the devices being unable to properly load software upon initial set-up."
The PlayBook is operating on a QNX platform, acquired by RIM just last year, as it further plans to also shift its new smartphones on to the same platform as soon as 2012.

Microsoft’s Bing and Map Service agreed to be the default services on BlackBerry by RIM


It was announced today, on Tuesday, by the C.E.O. of Microsoft, Steve Ballmer himself that its much alive search engine, Bing along with its maps services has been agreed to be made the default services for all BlackBerry devices. This announcement was preceded by a sudden surprise visit of the Microsoft C.E.O during the three day long BlackBerry World developer’s conference. This conference is held every year, by the manufacturers of famous business smartphone makers, Research In Motion (RIM) in Orlando, Florida.

It was also again published officially in the blog of the director of Bing; Matt Dahlin who said that the service will be set as the preferred search provider in the internet browser of all BlackBerry’s by default. It was also stated that the similar treatment will be given to the map service of Microsoft on the map application of Blackberry devices. Additionally it was also mentioned that agreement also extends to the RIM's new BlackBerry Playbook, as Bing will decidedly be the default search engine and along with the map application. Playbook is a very steep product of RIM, which will be a touchscreen tablet computer, competing in the market with products like Apple’s iPad. Dahln also said that "We are excited to be working with RIM, an early leader in Internet-connected mobile devices, to help people make better decisions with Bing.”

RIM Reveals New BlackBerry Bold Smartphone As It Thrives To Retain Its Lost Markets


Research In Motion has finally revealed its latest upgraded version of its BlackBerry Bold smartphone. The announcement was mande on Monday, added by the discussion on the enhancements its has brought to the BlackBerry operating system, as the company tries harder to keep its grip on the market after a profit warning. RIM claimed that its latest touch-screen cell phone will be sold worldwide this summer. It claimed that this new cell phone will even have relatively stronger processor than the Torch, and it confessed that its platform was getting old, so have overhauled too.

RIM gave surprising news to all its investors last week, when it announced a profit warning. It lifted all the expectations only just weeks after had previously issued a dismal of outlook for its results. The sales of RIM’s BlackBerry have been declining, particularly in the areas like U.S. and Latin America, which gives more market share to giant companies like Apple and Google.
