RIM Reveals New BlackBerry Bold Smartphone As It Thrives To Retain Its Lost Markets


Research In Motion has finally revealed its latest upgraded version of its BlackBerry Bold smartphone. The announcement was mande on Monday, added by the discussion on the enhancements its has brought to the BlackBerry operating system, as the company tries harder to keep its grip on the market after a profit warning. RIM claimed that its latest touch-screen cell phone will be sold worldwide this summer. It claimed that this new cell phone will even have relatively stronger processor than the Torch, and it confessed that its platform was getting old, so have overhauled too.

RIM gave surprising news to all its investors last week, when it announced a profit warning. It lifted all the expectations only just weeks after had previously issued a dismal of outlook for its results. The sales of RIM’s BlackBerry have been declining, particularly in the areas like U.S. and Latin America, which gives more market share to giant companies like Apple and Google.
According to an analyst of Evercore Partners, analyst Alkesh Shah stated in respect to the announcement that’s "It's not so much any individual product that's going to change investors' perception of the stock. It's going to take an upgrade of the entire product portfolio with the operating system upgrades."
This new product, titled Blackberry Bold is one of the most powered models of RIM to reach the market yet. It is shaped with 2.8-inch screen and has a 1.2 GHz processor, along with the typical QWERTY-style keys. Additionally, it is equipped with the latest near-field communication (NFC) chip, which lets the phone to act like a mobile wallet, revealed the officials of the company at the annual BlackBerry World conference in Orlando, Florida.
RIM has also added, for the first time, an app for video calls in the new PlayBook tablet computer, whereas it also announces to make the acquisition of the device management company, Ubitexx. Furthernire, owing to a very bold and market-snatching strategy, RIM has also announced to soon begin hosting the Apple and Android devices to be able to use its secure services of BlackBerry Enterprise Server. This is the same services which remained controversial in UAE regarding its privacy. RIM is also soon opening up BlackBerry Balance, which is a program designed to manage the coexistence of both corporate and personal data in an uncompromising manner.
BlackBerry has remained the best cell phone choice of large businesses and government agencies for years, though know they might have started providing Apple iPhones and Android-run devices instead. So now RIM is taking bold steps to not only defend, but sustain its regime of the professional market.
