Huawei Opens Its First Foreign Center in Britain

Huawei Technologies, one of the top telecommunications equipment makers in China, at the moment, made an announcement this Monday. They declared a new establishment of a security center inaugurated in Britain allowing its products and software to be examined and tested their directly.

Huawei, had recently faced huge troubles in attempts of global expansion as the worry of national security was noteworthy for either of the government. However, Huawei now expects the new Cyber Security Evaluation Center, opened last month in Britain's Banbury, will dispel that worry. The managing director of this newly opened center, Jon Frieslaar, stated in a press conference, that "This center is like a glasshouse - transparent, readily accessible and open to regulators and our customers."
One such trouble occurred when once; India blocked all imports of Chinese telecommunication imports, dominated by Huawei and ZTE Corp. This ban was later lifted after the Chinese companies agreed to a renewed set of rules and conduct. According to another Wall Street Journal report, similar companies were also not considered a reliable party in a large Sprint Nextel Corp contract because of U.S. national security concerns, earlier this month.
