Nokia Looks Forward To Retrieve Its Market Share by Launching an NFC-Enabled Game in Collaboration with Angry Birds

Nokia is making desperate attempts as it collaborates with Angry Birds for lifting its own brand name. Nokia posted it on their official blog on Tuesday, that they are creating a new game titled, ‘Angry Birds Free With Magic.’ This game is supposed to have twenty different levels, but the trick will be unlocking fifteen of which, only by moving the mobile, a NFC (Nokia field communications-enabled) mobile phone, near a another NFC phone. And if let’s say, the player fails to find any other NFC enabled phone nearby, than the next choice is to at least be able to find NFC tags embedded in any object, and shake the mobile in front of that object. However, it has not be specified by Nokia that what kind of objects are likely to have this NFC embedded tags.
This specific game was actually released by Rovio previously, along with the new Nokia C7, as a collective offer for promotions. Now it has been chosen to be added up into almost all kinds of Nokia NFC-enabled devices coming this year. According to the official statement at the blog, it says that "Meanwhile, the Rovio programmers are hard at work creating a full version of Magic, to be made available through Ovi Store that will have more levels and more ways to harness the power of NFC."

Apple Inc. has once again witnessed an extra-ordinary good quarter, about which it reported on Wednesday. It has been disclosed that the earnings of the company were almost double than its net income, and it has once again exceeding the estimates of many analyst. This unexpected and great success of Apple has come from outwardly unbelievable sales of iPhone.

The iPad 2 was released to the public, when only three weeks were left in this quarter, whereas manufacturing restrictions was a huge setback for the proper selling of Apple iPads. According to the C.F.O. of Apple Inc., Peter Oppenheimer, Apple is constantly working to make the manufacturing of iPad 2s bigger and better. He also stated that with larger production, Apple has all the intentions to also expand the list of countries in which iPad tablet is being sold directly.

TED Holds Public Audition Online To Chose a Public Speaker


TED, Technology Entertainment and Design Conferences, has just recently put up a first ever contest which gives the opportunity to everyone for trying their luck to sit in the same position as Bill Gates, Al Gore and Jane Goodall. Yes, starting this month a contest will be set up, whose winner will become a TED speaker of 2012 conference. The auditions will be taken online through video-sharing websites like YouTube and Vimeo, giving the largest possible entries from the whole wide world.

This contest clearly represents the theme of this year’s conference i.e. "Full Spectrum." Hence, TED boasts that it has put all their energy in considering all possible methods to reach maximum number of audience for this contest. The website, to be careful, has given few lists of instructions and tips to such large applicants in order to keep them on the right track. It has been advised to include a custom-animated movie or some kind of improve, in fact extra images are being considered to be much appreciated rather than a text-oriented presentation.

Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. Wrongly Accuses Apple’s iPad for Outsourcing Jobs and Begins an Anti-Technology Rant


It is not the first time that governments officials have been mislead and end up giving unreasonable statements. The representative of the state of Illinois, Jesse Jackson Jr., lately gave a presentation in front of the whole Congress. Like plenty other short-sighted people, he also took the matter of the extent of unemployment in the country which has resulted by the outsourcing of jobs in to foreign countries. Despite making some reasonable and suitable points in his speech, he gave a whole bunch of unwise fight out against the iPad, along with off course Apple and advancement of technology.

He also pointed the fingers at the system which, according to him, was not suppose to allow such a move to take place at all. Whereas, Jackson did not finish blaming Apple only, he completely went anti-technology, and began a rant opposing the idea of advancements in technology resulting in jobs becoming obsolete.
