PeopleBrowsr is a Social media analytics company and it just recently launched its social search product called ‘ReSearch.ly.’ This new tool is specifically designed to help exclusive brand managers and marketers to target the audience and find as refined as 1% of Twitter users that matter most to their search query. It is basically just another Twitter search engine promising to provide unseen search features allowing the brands insight into micro or niche Twitter communities.
Just like any other search engine, the searching tweets task begins when specified keywords are provided to search the database. But once the search is initiated, tweets start showing in the left-hand bar of the application and whereas the users, in this case the person doing the search, has the wide variety of options filter their stream to categorize tweets in any manner suitable for them. These filters may include categories including followers or those following, sorting results by gender and also separation of tweets by positive or negative sentiment as well. Moreover the results can also be narrowed by product-defined communities or location.
On the other hand, at the right-side of the application, ReSearch.ly provides a graphical overview of global tweets for 30-day or seven-day time spans according to user selection. The user will also be able to interpret a chart showing keyword volume fluctuation over time with a sentiment line graph and a sentiment pie chart determining whether how many tweets support a product or otherwise. A word cloud will also be including, being a feature which highlights the common words housed within the tweets being divided. This area of ReSearch.ly will also show media related to tweets like the tweets which include links to other websites such as Twitpics or a YouTube videos.
