Member among the star cast of the Blade films, Wesley Snipes, was just ordered to report at a prison in the town of Lewis Run on 9 December. As the 48 year old actor was convicted in 2008 for not filling his tax returns of the year, last week, Snipes heeded an opportunity from the judge to allow him to remain free on bail until he appeals to the US Supreme Court to overturn his conviction.
Once found guilty by a jury in Florida, Snipes than first appealed to a court in Atlanta in the US state of Georgia. But the court uphold3ed all the convictions and gave him a further sentence. However, just last month, lawyers of Snipes, argued that he had a legal right to remain on bail while they prepared a fresh appeal.
Daniel Meachum, the lawyer of Snipes, informed the media that he had received e-mails from multiple jurors, who have taken a stance and openly claim that there were few others in the jury who were already in the belief that the actor was guilty even before the trial began.
