#EntertainmentNews: Nick Cannon Announces Mariah Carey Is Expecting Twins

Nick Cannon, husband of the famous singer, Mariah Carey announced publically on his radio show, New York that they are expecting to have twins. Afterwards Carey's own publicist, Cindi Berger also confirmed herself late on Thursday on station 92.3.
Cannon spoke on air  in these words, he said "In order for my wife and I to have our life, we need to be up front and I need to be able to share things with you and be real.” The he confessed that "I didn't even tell my wife I was gonna do this," and then exclaimed "I'm probably gonna get yelled at for not getting permission ... We are having twins!"

DMX is yet again headed towards another jail-time, now for a year. This morning of Thursday, December 16th, the rapper actually named Earl Simmons confessed being guilty in a courtroom at Phoenix being in violation of his felony probation. He was arrested on November 18 for not checking in with his probation officer as he was suppose, moreover he failed to submit to drug testing and refused to undergo the treatment.

He confessed that the show that "I've been drinking a lot, [But I don't] want to go into all that, because it's really a personal, traumatic thing."

#EntertainmentNews: Blake Edwards, the Famous Director Dies at the Age Of 88

The director-cum-writer well known for his clever dialogues, poignancy and for his most highly admired work in "Breakfast at Tiffany's," ''10" and the "Pink Panther," Blake Edwards died at the age of 88.
Edwards was suffering from pneumonia and its related complications contributing to his death as he passed away at about 22.30 this Wednesday at St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica, according to his publicist Gene Schwam. He had been already admitted to the hospital about two weeks before the incident, hence his wife, Julie Andrews along with his other family members all were surrounding him.

MySpace and Google sign the new search and ads deal

MySpace, the social networking website owned by News Corp's and Google Inc have achieved a multiyear search and advertising agreement, ending months of uncertainty surrounding the partnership between the two. According to this new deal, Google will not only empower the MySpace search results and search advertising but also provide all additional display ad services. And yet again the Terms and financial aspect of the agreement were not disclosed.
Under the previous deal singed sometime in 2006, Google had guaranteed an amount of $900 million to News Corp in exchange of the right to sell advertisements related to user searches on MySpace with some other small News Corp websites as well, over the time period of three years. But the deal expired in June, hence it was temporarily extended as News Corp and Google continued talks about the renewal of their agreement. It is anticipated by many experts that News Corp will not be able to sign an agreement to come off as profitable as the original deal as News Corp has also reached out to Microsoft Corp and Yahoo for powering search advertising on MySpace as well.

Study Shows 1.2 Billion Illegal Song Downloads only in UK

According to a study conducted for the recording industry lobby group, the BPI, at least around 1.2 billion songs are to be illegally downloaded till the end of 2010 only in Britain, it announced this Thursday. This estimation, which has been described as "conservative," by the authorities behind the study, compares to the only around 370 million tracks, either singles or albums, which are expected to be purchased legally this year.

Facebook Soon to Launch Face Recognition in Photo’s of Its Users

This Wednesday afternoon Facebook’s engineer Justin Mitchell published a blog post publicizing a new product of Facebook expected to be introduced within the next few weeks, based on photos being uploaded at Facebook. This new upgrade titled as ‘tag suggestions,' is clear-cut simple; when a user uploads any new photo to their Facebook account, Facebook will automatically begin to use its own facial recognition software in the background to literally match faces in previously uploaded and tagged by the user. And as Mitchell wrote: “We group similar photos together and whenever possible, suggest the name of the friend in the photos.”

eBay Acquires Critical Path Software, Its Mobile Application Developers

The famous eBay Inc, online retailer or rather the best web commerce service online itself announce this Wednesday that it has acquired the mobile software application developer, Critical Path Software, as the company intends to additionally embrace even more selling via mobile. As usual not much terms and details of the deals were disclosed.
The company, Critical Path Software which is based in Portland, Orego has been having business relationship with eBay for almost over two years now and most importantly it has been developing the apps of eBay for Apple Inc's iPhone, which according to eBay has been downloaded by more than 14 million times. Some of the other work of Critical Path includes those for eBay's ticket site StubHub and eBay’s Classified and shopping site Shopping.com.
