Don Cheadle, Spike Lee and the soccer celebrity Mia Hamm are only few names of the high profile stars who are lined up to participate in the celebrity golf tournament hosted by Michael Jordan in North Las Vegas. This tournament is held annually since from a decade now and this 10th year will be the first time the venue is set to be Sin City.According to the representatives of the Aria resort and casino, the quarterback of New Orleans Saints Drew Brees and the famous hockey icon Wayne Gretzky are both likely to join this tournament as well, which is scheduled to take place from the 31st of March, 2011 to the 3rd of April, 2011. The venue is announced to be the exclusive Shadow Creek golf course.
As always, all the celebrities will be paired with four amateur participants’ individually and will than contest in a 36-hole scramble format tournament. It has been disclosed that this year's tournament shall benefit several foundations and NGO’s including the famous Make-A-Wish Foundation, the James R. Jordan Foundation, Cats Care, Nevada Cancer Institute along with plenty other charitable institutes.
