One of the hosts of the popular talk show ‘The View,’ Sherri Shepherd, just received a call from The Gospel Music Association. The announcement of her getting chosen to host ‘The Dove Awards’ was made by Sherri herself whereas she added that her fans shall expect "a hot night of Godly music and comedy" at Christian Music's annual celebration of voices raised in faith.
Sherri is a Daytime Emmy winner actress and comedian and has been credited for her work on "The View" and also the hosting of another show titled "The Newlywed Game." Adding to her lists of credits is also a recurring character which she plays on the sitcom "30 Rock."
This year’s 42nd annual Doves will take place at the Atlanta's Fox Theatre, as they have changed the venue from the previously traditional home of Nashville. The event is programmed to be taped on 20th of April whereas the schedule reports that they will actually be aired for the public on April 24 at GMC, which is Easter Sunday.
