It has been confirmed by the office of Canada’s prime minister himself that both Prince William and Kate Middleton have accepted the invitation to travel the lands of Canada this summer. This will be their first trip of Canada as a married couple. The Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, had previously invited the couple for visiting Canada right after they had made the announcement of their engagement, which was around the November in 2010.
The Governor General of Canada David Johnston has revealed an overall schedule of their visit as he was speaking publically this Wednesday. He also announced the dates of the visit of couple, as he stated that they are scheduled to make an arrival on 30th June and will tour the lands of Canada from Alberta, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Ottawa to the Northwest Territories, like the Arctic. Their trip finally comes to an end on the 8th of July, 2011.
They will also be participating in the celebrations of the ‘Canada Day’ at the venue of Ottawa on 1st of July. Whereas, Canada is also issuing stamps in the honor of the newlywed couple while their wedding approaches closer.
