#EntertainmentNews: White House Hosting another Ceremony Bringing Motown for the Obama Family

The President of United States of America, Barack Obama, and his wife Michelle Obama have both announced to observe the ‘Black History Month’ at their residence in White House. They have called it a reason for celebration of Motown music.

According to the news shared by the White House, performers at this event are scheduled to include artists and singers like Smokey Robinson, Sheryl Crow and even John Legend. It is scheduled to take place on the 24th of February, 2011. The event is also announced to be recorded and then later also broadcasted on several channels, though premiering on PBS at the 1st of March.
This Motown event is the latest of addition to the long list of music series "In Performance at the White House." The White House, under the time of Barrack Obama, has been a respected host to several musical tributes to plenty genres which include from the range of jazz, country to even Broadway. Even Mrs. Obama has quite frequently hosted the daytime programs for students for their education regarding the different range of genres and encouraged their involvement in the field arts.
