Zinga Expands Itself Acquiring Newtoy Inc.

Thanks to the hugely successful addictive games such as Farmville and Mafia Wars, firmly established third-party publisher Zynga has this week expanded its boundaries by acquiring development studio Newtoy Inc.
Newtoy was founded by two brothers Paul and David Bettner, who are also the contributes to the of real-time strategy Halo Wars, a game on Xbox 360, before they attempted to open the doors of their newborn studio in McKinney, Texas, in around 2008. Whereas, since then, Newtoy has really made a name for itself within the hugely competitive industry of popular ‘Games With Friends’ franchise, which large variety of games, including Scrabble-esque iPhone games such as ‘Words With Friends’ and ‘Chess With Friends’.

Seattle Police Uses Twitter to Track the Reported Stolen Cars

The Wednesday, The Seattle police department made an announcement stating that it will start tweeting information on stolen vehicles in an attempt to control the, more increasing than ever, auto theft rates.
Initially, they say, that they intend to publish the color, year, make, model, body style and license plate numbers in the tweet. They have plans to give the Twitter account username as "Get your car back." According to Seattle police, the predictably the average number of cars being stolen in the city premise has noticeably mounted from 8.46 cars everyday last year to 9.9 cars everyday this year, and astonishingly almost around 3,000 cars were stolen alone in the last month, October.

Apple Removes an App on Reports by Change.Org

Apple used its reserved rights recently to remove an iPhone app from the iStore, considering all the anti-gay following forming a huge wave of protests managed by the online petition site Change.org. The App was initially approved and became available in the App Store this October, the Manhattan Declaration app was owned by the members of the Manhattan Declaration, which is a movement recently formed by a number of Christian leaders advocating their disapproval of both gay marriage and abortion rights.
