This Friday, Willie Nelson, widely recognized artist for his participation in the outlaw country movement of the 1970s, who was suppose to be an icon of American popular culture, was arrested and detained for the possession marijuana.
According to the relevant officials who made the arrest, he was returning back to Austin, after having spent the Thanksgiving in California. They added to the report that he was with his entire crew which accompanied him aboard on the country music star's tour bus. The officials stopped the bus, precisely, this Friday morning around 9 a.m., as they were passing through the border patrol checkpoint in Sierra Blanca.
Nelson was found guilty for the possession of found 6 ounces of marijuana on the bus, and immediately transported to the Hudspeth County Jail, where he was charged with marijuana possession. However, he just posted a bail of estimated around $2,500 and went of continuing his tour again.
