Google is mysteriously hosting an event, scheduled on December, 7th, where it is hugely suspected to reveal its, much rumored, netbook based on its Chrome operating system. The Google's support platform, Chrome OS, is getting increasingly popular, as it is also used in Chrome Web browser, which has measured up for almost 9.27 percent of total browser use worldwide, according to Net Applications.
Google now intends to run the same platform in its new, yet-to-be-launched netbooks and other machines with keyboards, and the headline used to advertise this new technology is to promise an immensely quick booting up in seconds as in comparison to the traditional computers based on Microsoft Windows, Apple Mac OS and Linux. However, Chrome OS is still in a very raw beta stage and unfit for any kind of mass consumption.
Eric Schmidt, the well known CEO of Google, announced at the Web 2.0 Summit, held on Nov. 15, that Chrome OS was just a few months from actual public launch on netbooks. So now the real questions on peoples’ minds are that when can the public get them?
