SlingPlayer app for iPhone was long-awaited itself and just upon its release went the reviews kept coming once the place shifting Media Company delivered. Now Sling Media is back with a separate version of its mobile app, this time for iPad. A new iOS application that allows the users to have the Slingbox Solo and Pro-HD owners can watch and control their home TV and DVR from an iPad remotely.
It is much easier to stream live media from your cable or satellite subscriptions diricetly, or stream something from your DVR as well, Apple TV, or any compatible home security camera systems too. The User Guide has also been trimmed for new iOS's touch-friendly environment, and a brand new “recent channels" tool now also makes it much easier for users to jump back to what they were watching. The video quality is definitely much higher any other versions available on the iPhone apps. The SlingPlayer app for iPad will work on both 3G and Wi-Fi, unlike the previous mobile versions on iPhone etc.
SlingPlayer Mobile for iPad is available now being retailed in the App Store for $30, although noticeably, there is a requirement for the iPad to be having iOS 4.2 or later for the smooth running of the app.
