Newest Rumor Claim the New iPod Nano Will Regain Camera

The famous Taiwanese blog, Apple.pro, which is popular for its previous leaked information regarding several of apple products before their official release, has now just published another set of picture of this year’s  next generation of iPod Nano. The blog is asserting that the camera hole in the iPod Nano is on the upper left of the backside, accommodating the 1.3 megapixel camera lens. The blog analyzes that even though low-resolution camera might seem a little off standards for the iPad Nano, it is just fine considering the screen size.

Furthermore, the website has alleged that this upcoming seventh generation of iPod Nano will keep the multi-touch screen, which was in the previous versions too, however it importantly notified that according to their sources the clip on the backside will be discontinued. It stated that the reason is obvious, due to the addition of the camera lens, the backside of this new model will not be able to accommodate the clip too, and hence it implied that the camera will actually replace the clip. Camera was actually part of Nano series back in the 5th model released in 2009, but was discontinued after that, even though it received major criticism for this action.

According to the reply to our inquiry from Appleinsider, another most trusted website, these pictures revealed by the Taiwanese blog were already released by themselves back in early April asserting that the camera will be picked again. It further added that the time a rumors of camera returning Nano, was around the April Fools’ Day, which challenges the authenticity of the news. It revealed that these recent image’s were received from an anonymous source with the screen name of “Ray” from California.
Appleinsider pointed out that the Taiwanese blog had previously been correct on revealing the features of the 6th Nano especially that it is going to have tiny screen with the multi-touch display, way before the actual device was officially released. Further it added that Apple.pro was also able to correctly leak the pictures of then-unreleased iPhone 4G, however, it webt on to warn that the Taiwanese blog has also had its share of incorrect news too, like the false 15-inch Macbook Air news.
In any case, if this news turns out to be true, it will definitely settle the critics of the discontinuation after 5th generation Nano, although many might be even unhappy to have a Nano with a low-resolution camera considering their precious handy clip-on multi-touch screen Nano. Seventh generation of iPod Nano is set to release traditionally in September this year.
