It has now formed a tradition to spread and inspect the rumors about the upcoming iPhone and its speculation. This Friday it was alleged by various sources that previous rumors asserting that this September will bring a new version of iPhone, might be completely off tracks. Even though Apple has always announced new phones in the early summer each year in the past, many reports are indicating that this tradition might be shifted to a yearly cycle with the release on every fall. It also comprehends that there will be no iPhone 5 this year; instead a newer upgraded version of the iPhone 4 will be released. Such rumors have really made it questionable whether iPhone 5G will or will not be released this fall. Having said that, other sources have also asserted, regardless of when iPhone 5 will be released, it will be housing an edge-to-edge screen this time.
Citing from the Chinese online retailer chain, AliBaba, it has been claimed in the product listing for an “iPhone 5G,” a case has been put up for sale. The images supporting this product page, demonstrate a placeholder of iPhone 5 showing an iPhone 5G with an edge-to-edge screen. Furthermore, it has been also mentioned that this iPhone 5 will have be having a new location for its camera flash. Even though the photos displayed do not include a side view of the device, but it is clear that the back side is not changed at all, contradicting the previous rumors of iPhone 5G citing from other sources. It can also be very well be indicating that this is perhaps not an iPhone 5G but an iPhone 4GS instead, as several rumors implied last week.

The major distinction between the rumors of 4S and the rumors of 5G is their network access. It is being said that 5G will allegedly contain the ability to run on a 4G/LTE network, which even not being confirmed by Apple yet, is very much believed to be inevitable, whereas 4S will not have that ability. Whereas, rumors lead us to believe, that 4S will on the contrary have “minor cosmetic changes, better cameras, A5 dual-core processor, and HSPA+ support.”
All of these information sources and speculations will be considered merely rumors unless we see an official announcement of Apple, which we either expect in June, during its annual WWDC, or otherwise in September of this year.
