Firstly, the workers totally avoid discussing their sex lives and secondly salaries.
This survey consisted on the opinion of a total of 2,118 adult workers. The information collected indicated that almost every third out of four person in America is a user of at least one social network site, but they are more inclined for posting stuff like restaurant reviews or vacation photos rather than sharing their sex life or salaries. Rusty Rueff, the career expert of a website company who funded this poll said, "In this era of over-sharing, people tend to clam up on a couple of topics, one of which is salary."
This Harris poll was conducted by Glassdoor.com,  and representing the company Rusty went on identifying that "We've yet to get over the salary taboo offline, and it is often to the individual's benefit to become more comfortable discussing job information and insights with co-workers, friends and even family.” This poll was conducted online and after calculations, it disclosed that only around 55% - 70% of people did not have any kind of trouble sharing their vivid non-personal information, but they’d still however remain protective for their children's activities along with the household purchases.
Whereas, a clean sweep of 2% only claimed that they would not be troubled if they shared their information like sex life or their salary details on these website. Infact, science we’re talking about workers, they are even more protective towards their employment status, rather than ones relationship status.
Rueff though his views, that according to the company, they have guessed that the feeling of fear and communal norms of expectations, forms the reason of unwillingness while discussing the job and pay information online with everyone. It was also studied that generally the addictive users of the social networking websites are likely to be more women than men. The audience of social networking website users range from the age of 18 to 34 years old, especially the ones holding on to their relationships information, employment status and career advancement than other age groups, speaks the survey.
Despite being relatively more consistent users, Women are also a little hesitant to some extent, when it comes to be talking public the job related. Job status is given complete preference over even ones relationship statuses, reviewing vacation pictures and shopping trips.
