Nintendo Announces To Release the Second Generation of Wii In 2012

The next generation of the superhot gaming console, which is perhaps the iconic product of Nintendo, Wii console, has been announced to arrive in 2012. This announcement was made on a press conference which took place on Monday; as Nintendo Co. did not reveal a single new feature in the upcoming generation of Wii. However, it did share its intention as the company disclosed that it has scheduled to display a functioning model of the new console at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, which will take place from the 7th to 9th June 2011, in Los Angeles.

Wiis since the launch of 2006. The reason behind Wii hijacking the market share was it pioneering motion-sensing controller. These controllers lead to a complete new era of sports-style gaming, like for example in a game involving baseball or boxing the players will only have to maneuver their body as they would do when actually pitching a ball or throwing a punch. Regardless of anything, it was at the time, the best gaming experience offered as most the user found it multi-purpose as they would only install an additional step-board, called Wii Fit which allowed them to actually perform dance steps or yoga in variety of games.
This newest gaming experience, first introduced by Wii, was very soon copied by other competitive console makers of the market but they always ended up complicating the things even more.
Wii, considering the products in the market today, has a very diffident hardware Wii, as other competitive rival companies in the same industry; like Sony and Microsoft, regularly sent update to all their users for their consoles capabilities. However, tragically Wii only had to receive few few minor updates.
Competition grew even fiercer, when Microsoft released its brand new gaming console with latest advancements, called Kinect. It was released in this last fall, as it used the power of a 3-D camera along with real-time controlling through depth sensors enhanced with voice-recognition software. The system was intelligent enough to simultaneously recognize your face, voice and gestures as the player only have to move and speak, and it was free of any other necessity like even a remote controller or just a headset. In fact, Sony has even just recently began selling its Move controller which is just a another, though little more advance, yet basically a version of the Wii remote.
This announcement of a second generation of Nintendo’s, once leading gaming control, came right around when the financial analysis and results were being made public on Monday. Nintendo indicated that the annual earnings of the company have been lessening since couple years in a row, as the sales declined. Hence the company now intends to boost back its sales in order to see a rise again in this fiscal year which has just started.
