According to the sources at the company, Chiefs Heads of all major products; Social networking, Android, Chrome, Search, Advertising and YouTube are now briefed to be straightforwardly accountable to Page. Reforming the management of Google was the first move of Page after becoming the C.E.O, once Eric Schmidt has stepped down on Monday. This move signifies how strategic priorities will be set giving importance to mobile gadgets and social media services.

Social networking, is one product of Google which has struggled a long way in order to adopted by masses, hence it is thought to be met with more concern within the company. According to analysts: "At least social is at the same table with Android and search and ads. Social is now a big part of the discussion."
Google is undoubtedly a giant of a company, and the world’s best search engine. It produced a total of $29 billion in revenue of 2010, but these figures are always endangered by other large names which cater large online traffic. Social Network such as Facebook, who’s accumulated 500 million most active members, is a major threat.
On the other hand, Google’s products like Android smartphone software are largely recognized and taking over the market share in that field. The research firm, comSore, claims that Android has now formed the most popular smartphone software in the United States, even beating the mobile phone giants like Apple. Moreover, these statistics are as new as the end of February.
All the investors of the company and the analysts had expected Page to take exactly such brave and hard line steps in redefining Google, along with the focus on search, mobile and technological innovation. All these expectations seems to have been met carefully.
