#EntertainmentNews: Shakira Meats the Brazilian President before a Concert for a Public Meeting

Singer Shakira and the
Brazilian President Dilma Roussef

Colombian singer Shakira is uniting with the Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff as they both publically pledge and aim forward to improve the welfare of children in Brazil. Shakira and Rousseff had a meeting this Thursday which lasted for almost 20minutes in the Brazilian capital of Brasilia.
This meeting was set before a programmed concert as both talked about the work of Shakira's Alas Foundation openly in front of the media. Shakira’s foundation, which is pretty operative in Brazil, actually promotes early-childhood development in Latin America.

Shakira gifted Rousseff a guitar as a souvenir of the meeting, whereas before arriving back from Brazil, Shakira also inaugurated 20 new childhood development centers in Argentina. Shakira has also previously announced her intentions of continuing the similar charity work in Panama and Mexico as well.
