#EntertainmentNews: Filmmaker Wajda Honored With Poland's Highest Rank Award

The Oscar-winning filmmaker, who has represented Poland worldwide several times, Andrzej Wajda has now been honored with the highest ranking award of the nation. The filmmaker has been honored with this achievement as they claim that he spent almost entire his life for reshaping the next generation of Poland, uniting them under solidarity freedom movement through his efforts.
Wajda has been honored with the Order of the White Eagle by rewarding him the blue sash from the hands of the President of Poland, Bronislaw Komorowski. This accreditation took place at a ceremony held in the presidential palace this Monday.

Komorowski spoke at the event saying that Wajda, 85, has served "great causes" through his endeavors, in order to “helped shape the generation of Solidarity" in the 1990s. Back in 2000, Wajda has been previously honored at the Oscar Awards for a lifetime achievement award in cinema.
