Asustek, A Taiwanese Company Launches Android-Powered Tablet

A Taiwanese company AsusTek Computer Inc., has revealed their own designed smart tablet computer just this Friday, very close the launch of Apple's hit iPad which has according to them dump the market of their previously very popular mini-laptops.
AsusTek has claimed that their new EEE Pad Transformer, supported on Android 3.0 is very much better than Apple’s iPad in many ways; it has a detachable keyboard; better docking; lighter and more flexible. With a screen size of 10.1” comes along the double camera; front and rear. The detachable keyboard is really the selling point of the company as they advertise that users can keep it handy for Web browsing and watching movies and stuff as well as making the device a full-fledged laptop for intense use too.

The C.E.O. of the company, Jerry Shen, announced with the Associated Press "In our own pursuit of perfection, we offer users more options.” He then went on explaining the feature of the device and in what way can it be most beneficial, he said "They can get a full range of functions including 10-finger touch, Flash supported video viewing, e-book reading, and a physical keyboard so they don't have to deal with any inconveniences."
Shen admitted that currently Apple Inc. has overtaken almost entire tablet computer market, which is in his opinion growing very fast. Though he also forecasted that this market share of Apple will, according to his judgment, fall down to only 50 percent by the time of 2012 as he claims more and more devices run on advanced systems of Android and Microsoft.
This new tablet PAD takes pre-orders in Taiwan this Friday, subsequent to the sales in the U.K. from 30th March after which it will be released in the U.S.
