Apple Improves Their Shipment Time of iPad 2 from 3-4 Weeks to 2-3 Weeks

The revised time for the shipping to the U.S. customers has been enhanced, as before Apple’s website claimed to make the shipment in around four and five weeks but now this estimation has been lowered to two to three weeks only. Even the international orders, as the device gets released internationally on Friday, are also promised to be shipped within two to three weeks.

Even though one week does not really makes a difference but it actually indicates that Apple is succeeding to meet up with the issue of very high demand it has faced earlier. Concerns were raised before the international launch in 25 new countries that whether or not will Apple be able to meet the demand in these areas but it seems now they are all been wronged.
There has also been a speculation that Apple might be facing troubles as the direct affect of the earthquake disaster of Japan as their manufacturing partner, Foxconn has halted their activities. Then again rumors say that Apple has stocked enough components to continue their assembling of iPad 2 for the next two to three weeks on its own.

Bottom line is that this betterment in shipment time estimation clearly indicates that the availability of iPad seems to be improving. Moreover reports from readers also state that their iPad 2 even got shipped even ahead of time.
