Nelly Furtado has made a huge announcement clearly stating that she was once paid for a performance at a rate of $1 million for that particular performance in front of all the members of Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi's "clan" back in 2007, though along with this announcement she has also declared that now she has clear intentions of donating that money received for the performance completely to the charity.
Meanwhile several other major stars have also reported that they have also performed for the same Gadhafi's family at one point in time or the other, despite them not showing up, Furtado did not only came out of the closet but her announcement of volunteering the information about her performance on Twitter publically was a huge step.
According to her Tweets she first wrote: "In 2007, I received 1million$ from the (Gadhafi) clan to perform a 45 min. Show for guests at a hotel in Italy.” Whereas later that day on Monday she again added, "I am going to donate the $.”
