#EntertainmentNews: ‘Inception’ And ‘The Social Network’ Takes Lead At The Writers Guild Awards!


Both the most valued movies of this season, Inception and The Social Network justly made their marks on the screenplay honors awards held on this Saturday night at the Writers Guild Awards.

The writer of the mind-twisting movie, Inception, Christopher Nolan was awarded the best original screenplay award. And it shared its moment with the writer Aaron Sorkin for his best adapted screenplay award for his movie, The Social Network. Both of these honors were presented at the same time by the Writers Guild of America at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles and the AXA Equitable Center in New York.
Other winners of other categories in Writers Guild Awards included Charles Ferguson, Chad Beck and Adam Bolt who won the award for the best documentary screenplay for the work in "Inside Job." Whereas, for the category of the best writers of drama and comedy series was won by the AMC's "Mad Men" and ABC's "Modern Family.”
