#EntertainmentNews: The Author Best-Selling "Big Short," Lewis Is Being Sued For Defamation

Big Short

The best-selling author of the book titled “The Big Short,’ Michael Lewis is now being sued for the charges of being offensive against an asset manager featured in his book. Moreover, few other targets are also mentioned in the lawsuit along with Lewis, including his publisher W.W. Norton & Company along with the prominent hedge fund manager Steven Eisman of FrontPoint Partners LLC in Connecticut, one of the sources for Lewis' book.

Upon inquiry both Lewis, along with his publisher W.W. Norton & Company have made the claim that they have not yet been served with any notice or complaint for the course of action hence they cannot comment. Whereas Eisman also made the same claim that he had not received any kind of notification which can indicate that he is being sued.
The full title of the book is "The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine." The publication date of the book is March 2010 whereas it kept lying on the No.1 spot at the The New York Times list of hardcover nonfiction bestsellers for six complete weeks.
