The 27-years-old actress, who is best known by the character she plays as a resident bad girl Tyra Collette on the show titled Friday Night Lights, has finally ended up doing the character of Wonder Woman. She will be doing the lead role in the show while the pilot of the new series hits NBC soon, as reported by Deadline Hollywood.
Apart from the gig of Friday Night Lights, Palicki has also previously worked on the several small scale acts for Fox, one such was her character in the canceled drama series Lone Star and the WB's Supernatural. Moreover, she is every well familiar with superpowers as she has also done a guest appearance the Clark Kent for an episode for the WB's Smallville in 2004.
This new character will be the superheroine's second TV act. As Lynda Carter has also previously rocked the tiara as Wonder Woman in a very old show which aired sometime in between 1976 to 1979.
