Opera Winfrey Discovers She Had Also Had a Step Sister since Her Childhood

Oprah Winfrey made a very recent announced on her show declaring that she has found out that she even had a step-sister she had no clue about. This Monday’s episode of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" she told that a Milwaukee woman who’s named Patricia revealed to her that they both were half-sisters.

Patricia claims that she was in the quest of finding her step sister for years now, as she closed up on her mother’s identity who gave her in adoption to another couple back in 1963. She claims to have realized that in 2007 that she was actually Opera Winfrey’s step-sister whereas, Winfrey claims she came to know about Patricia this last November.

Winfrey explained on her talk show that she was only 9 years of age while she lived with her father, when her mother probably had another daughter and decided to give her up for adoption without letting her know. In fact, she emphasized that she was not even sure that her mother ever even got pregnant. Winfrey told that both of the step sisters met for the first time on this Thanksgiving day.
