Mediaset, which is easily referred to as the Italian broadcast master, has now made the announcement of its intentions to introduce a new news-channel which will work 24/7. This Tuesday The president of the company president, Fedele Confalonieri himself showed his goal to begin operations within this year.
While addressing the 26th meeting union of Italy's leading editors held in Milan, the president, Confalonieri declared that this new channel will be an integral part of a completely fresh and latest News Mediaset unit. He went on stating that this unit will be a joint venture of Mediaset and another major international publishing and news organization in a partnership about which he avoided to disclose any particular details anymore.
It was stated earlier in December as well, as the company officially claimed that it would pursue an insistent hold of the situation through its Medusa film unit. Moreover on along with this announcement by the president on Tuesday, it was also affirmed that the company might consider acquiring the television soccer rights from Dahlia TV.
