After the concerts of very well reputed artists like Usher and the Eagles, the entertainment giant AEG reported this Wednesday that it has plans to utilize the newly built Shanghai arena as an attraction to call even better reputed international stars to China.
AEG, which also operates both the Staples Center in Los Angeles and London's O2 arena has promised that it will make the touring of China a much more commercially viable venture for all the artists now that it has take over the 18,500-seat Mercedes-Benz Arena of Shanghai.

It is obvious that overall the concerts by the Chinese music industry will fill greater part of the event calendar of the arenas, but AEG has intentions to include as many international stars to mix the calendar as many possible.
Craig Hartenstine, who is the senior vice president of tours and events explained in a short interview saying that "It's great to be able to land in China and play both Beijing and Shanghai and have these great venues."
