#EntertainmentNews: Roy Neuberger, an Asset in Art Collection Passes Away At the Age Of 107

The renowned investigator of Wall Street Journal, who soon began to be known as the nation's top modern art collectors, Roy R. Neuberger, passed away at the age of 107. It happened this Friday while being at his Manhattan's Pierre Hotel room.

He gathered huge number of paintings and sculptures but never even intended to sell them at any point. He was of the belief that any work of a living artist bought by an actual believing collector should be kept, while access to the general public. His commendable works spreads over 70 institutions different 24 states, while majority can be found at the Neuberger Museum of Art in Purchase in New York City.


His work was even appreciated by the highest authorities when he received the ‘National Medal of Arts’ by the hands of the President of United Sates of the time, George W. Bush, at a ceremony in White House in 2007.
He debuted his writing caliber in 1997, with the start from his first autobiography, titled "So Far, So Good: The First 94 Years," and later published his second memoir, called "The Passionate Collector," in 2003.
His spirit remains in his family left behind, as his daughter, Ann Neuberger Aceves; abd two sons Roy S. Neuberger and James A. Neuberger; with eight grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren continue his legacy. They also arranged a public funeral for their family head, this Sunday at Manhattan's Riverside Memorial Chapel.
