#EntertainmentNews: The ‘MILLION DOLLAR MONEY DROP’ Controversy over $800,000 Question Continues

The $800,000 wrong answer of a couple's recent attempt on the reality show “Million Dollar Money Drop” leads towards a controversy Fox Network.
This episode of Monday’s show, contested a couple which lost precisely a question worth $800,000. This significantly controversial question was stated in the show as: ‘which item was sold in stores first’ and the options provided as the answer were Macintosh computer, Sony Walkman or Post-It Notes. The couple had put all their money on stake while choosing Post-Its. Even though they apparently lost $800,000 according to the host at the moment Kevin Pollack, Mayi had originally argued considering Walkman as the correct answer, which was the same according to the producers as well.

Hence the couple lost the money. Later on Wednesday, Gawker.com has refuted claims of Post-It’s answer been considered as incorrect. They showed off a link leading to the Facebook Page of Post-It, according to which it wasn’t sold nationally until 1980, except few tested in some cities in 1977. Hence the producers of the show, including Pollack, have claimed that Sony Walkman coming to stores at 1979, were not the earliest. The couple still won $80,000 for leaving some money on the Walkman answer.
Later Gawker pointed out another flaw considering the question was not offered as “sold in stores nationally,” and instead the host only spoke, “sold in stores,” they made their point of considering Sony Walkman as the correct answer.
Executive Producer of the show, Jeff Apploff still stands firm on his stance stating that the show's determination about Post-It being the correct answer is wrong, as he said, and we quote: “’MILLION DOLLAR MONEY DROP’ stands behind the answer that was revealed on the show,” he said.
