AOL Redesigns Its E-Mail System With New Project Phoenix E-Mail

AOL Inc. is opening new doors as their new Web-based e-mail program, code-named Project Phoenix, gets launched as only a limited number of users get access to it. Perhaps, AOL is redesigning it from the core and ground level up to be the fastest service available. Whereas this service will be available for public sign up access, as the beta test site is released in the start of the next year.
The Project Phoenix inbox page was specifically designed for easy quick e-mail, text or instant message service only within just a few clicks on a "quick bar" at the top of the page. Whereas, further the design allows the user to short replies from within the inbox page itself as well, without being had to click to open the message first. Moreover, displaying thumbnails of recent photo attachments is another new feature of the design which lets people toggle between several open e-mails at a time just to give a glance.

Apple Grows Interest In Chinese Market

As the Apple’s latest version of MachBook Air is expected to be released in China, before the end of the month, all the Apple products are now being valued exceptionally in the Chinese market. However, the
Apple's newest products are always arriving late; when it comes to the official launch in the country, hence the Chinese customers have to practice much patience before long awaited launch. Just as the iPhone was launched, in China, two years late than the launch in other countries as the original shipments arrived in late 2009.
But, for a change, this time, Apple launched the iPhone 4 and the iPad in China before even six months delay after their official launch in the U.S. Apple is now planning to rekease the MacBook Air laptop around mid-November in China, only about a month after its launch in the U.S.
Analysts are warning that Apple’s stealing the country’s consumers away from the country's own grey market, as the local vendors will most probably first buy the product overseas only to bring it over to China to sell. However, the early launch of the new products by Apple will ensure to capitalize this agenda.

Saudi Arabia Bans Facebook

Saudi Arabia has currently blocked the access to Facebook in the country as the authorities explain that it doesn't obey much respect to the country's moral values.
A spokesman quoted about the website's content having "crossed a line,” as Facebook was blocked by Saudi Arabia's Communication and Information Technology Commission (CITC), which is claimed to be a temporary measure at the moment. Furthermore, the spokesman emphasized on the state affairs of Saudi Arabia, that it follows a strict version of Islam and explained that this block coming right before the Hajj pilgrimage followed by the religious holiday of Eid al-Adha, the Islamic New Year celebration, might not be a co incidence.
It was this Saturday, when the block was imposed and all those, trying to access Facebook encountered rather an error message. However, the practice of complicated methods, such as tunneling and proxies, might dodge this imposed block.

Facebook’s Rumor Of Its Own E-Mail Services Threatens All Including Gmail, Yahoo and Windows Live Mail

Any change that Facebook makes today affects the 500 million members of its social-networking website tomorrow. Hence, in this Google-Facebook rivalry, the rumor that Facebook is looking at its option to offer an e-mail serveice to its users is huge news. As, if it happens, it will automatically make Facebook the biggest e-mail service provider on the planet, because of its already huge number users.
More importantly, as we know that each Yahoo, Google and Microsoft are already hustling their way  to make their e-mail services more and more about people's social connections, in order to get more ‘active users.’ This puts Facebook to a tremendous advantage because it already has such a vast audience in this regard.
Facebook has invited all the media, on Monday, to its San Francisco’s head office. As entire tech blogs started shooting the news, on Friday, with assumption that Facebook is announcing its own web-mail service. Facebook representation has neither denied or nor confirmed these rumors, which perhaps leaves us with more uncertainty and confusion.
