The website of India’s most prominent investigative body, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), was recently hacked this Friday night by hacking criminal group referring to themselves as "Pakistani Cyber Army". There was a proper message left on the home page of the CBI website, right in front as you open the website, the message was actually a warning addressed to the ‘Indian Cyber Army’ to not to attack their websites.
Considering the strategic importance of CBI in Indian Government, its website was undoubtedly supposed to be kept one of the most secure and guarded websites on the internet. As the website is also in a constant continues connection with the command centre of world police organization, Interpol, this hacking incidence is considered as a huge disgrace for India in the International World as well.

Indian Intelligence agencies had frequently warned the government several times that proper cyber security measures were not installed in government offices.
As of Saturday morning, the CBI website has still not yet been restored and remains compromised. Giving a late night statement, the investigating agency said, "CBI is aware that its official website has been hacked and defaced. An inquiry has been launched and necessary remedial measures are underway to restore it."
