The Latest New Game of Zynga, Empires & Aliens, Allows the User to Fight Their Own Friends

The latest endeavor of the world’s largest social game-creator Zynga, which has credited widely popular games like FarmVille and CityVille in its catalogue, is now going to launch yet another socially powerful game, Empires & Allies. Considering it to be a game from Zynga, Empires & Allies, is expected to be soon adopted by the entire world, specially accounting it as the company’s first combat strategy game ever. According to the social gaming giant, its latest game will be like “CityVille meets Risk.”

It stated that unlike its most popular game, FarmVille, this time it has aimed to get users to not keep farms, but this game will rather be more about building your own property through trade and commerce. The release statement declared that Empires & Allies is going to be about building an army and protecting your empire. It announced that all users will compete against each other by forming larger army units, and keeping alliances, securing more energy and even invading other islands. Many analysts are anticipating this game to be quite similar to OGame type games of early 2000s.
Unique to the previous gaming creations of Zynga games, Empires & Allies will be run by its own story. This game will be housing at least more than thirty characters, which will be guiding the starter players regarding the storyline and techniques of playing the game. The game is still not expected to be complete pro hardcore gamers. In fact many analysts claim that it is this element of casual gaming which Zynga has kept so far, that makes it one of the most successful companies in the business. The executive producer of Empires & Allies at Zynga Inc., Amer Ajami, proclaimed that “we’re focused on bringing our players a new form of entertainment and a strategy game is definitely a new playground for us.”
Having said that, this will not exactly be the first time that Zynga releases a first player combat game, since its famous game Mafia Wars has done that before already. Hence, it is expected to not copy the previously released games, instead making the experience of gaming a little more of strategic battle planning and resource management. This being Zynga’s first ever combat action game, will base it on in-depth strategy and social gaming experience. The game will be initially available on Wednesday with twelve different languages support.
