Tumblr Launches Its New Share Buttons, Taking A Step Further To Make Its Community More Social


The renowned publishing platform, Tumblr, has taken a step further from its position and has perhaps somewhat attempted to have a more of a social networks touch to its network. Yes, it has released a new sharing button which completely resembles the ones of Twitter and Facebook. The shape and design of this new Tumblr Button, is pretty much standard and similar to the previously mentioned services, however Timblr promises that it is a much more sophisticated method of sharing the content of different publishers from anywhere on the web, and making the Tumblr community more reachable in general.
Tumblr is asserting that despite the function having almost the same appearance and overall the similar function on whole to share content, its button is different in regards that it more functional and allows more customized sharing. Even on its official blog, the post introducing the Tumblr buttons also declares that these new Tumblr Button offer “complete control over how your content appears when shared on Tumblr.” Later it went on explaining how the button has a relatively much greater functional capacity, and referred to be a more advanced stage of sharing on the internet.

The Tumblr Button are very versatile, as they are supposed to be, hence can also be easily suited into any platform contrasted with. Fundamental implementation of this new Tumblr button is to just give users the ability to share a link, pre-filled with the description of the article or website. The buttons let the user easily and quickly customize the content of the article or website, of which the link is being shared, whereas it also allows user to easily pull out quote explicitly from the overall content. Adding to the versatility of these buttons, they are easy to configure with either of PHP, Ruby or JavaScript by any fluent developer.
