Jack Dorsey, Twitter Co-Founder Who Stepped Down in 2008, Returns As the Company Acquires New Headquarters Building

Twitter co-founder, Jack Dorsey, who has previously once held the office as the C.E.O of the company after being one of the founding members has returned to the company as their permanent lead product development officer. He had to unfortunately sign off from the company, as he gave up his post as the chief executive back in 2008. He is now taking the place of the colleague and co-founder Evan Williams.

This time Evan Williams has called back his daily association with Twitter, though he will still keep on the board and contribute what he can. This critical declaration was tweeted by another chief executive of the company, Dick Costolo. His sentiments in the tweet implied that he was very "excited" of the replacement taking place on the elite administration of the company.

Mr Dorsey also sent a tweet sometime later and implied that he was rather more "thrilled" to have joined his own founded company once again. He also informed that this new duty is an addition to his previous post as the chief executive of a mobile payments service called ‘Square,’ which is very near to the new headquarter acquired by Twitter in San Francisco. He made it very clear that he intends to now work for both the companies simultaneously.
As an official release, twitter’s own verified twitter account tweeted that afternoon that: "As executive chairman, Jack will dive into work with more than 450 people, led by an experienced executive team." Whereas, a link to the blogpost of the twitter took to an elaborative writing, which implied that "The timing is fortuitous; not only is Twitter experiencing record growth, but we also now have a new infrastructure that will keep us ahead of that growth and enable us to launch products that will make Twitter more instant, simple and always present.”
This new change has come with very strong hopes as this is a very sensitive and crucial time for the company as their leading role in the information and communications platform. Appreciating the exceptional boost upto the almost 200 million users, the company has to take up the challenges faced by such large organizations and manage to step ahead and take advantage of itself do be able to do profitable business. Just last week Twitter celebrated its fifth birthday.
