Facebook has made the declaration of soon to be giving a new set of make-over to its platform with another run of minor numerable updates. This news was made public on Monday, and Facebook claims that these new upgrade to its majority features are only to equip the users with a more easy and better ways of sharing everyday information.
Just last month, Facebook launched its new features called Questions, and this fresh feature will now be expanded to be included separately in specific Groups as well, so people have the facility to easily conduct polls with specific set of people too. Moreover, several other updates are dedicated to Groups, as now user will be allowed to share complete albums to Groups rather than putting only one single photo at a time on the Group Page.
Furthermore, considering all these updates are dedicated to Facebook Groups, the users who are not fluent with the Facebook’s New Group feature and still work with the older version, will not be entitled to any of these new updates. However, it was also mentioned that Facebook is soon looking to bring a new interactive tool which will make it easy to switch to the newer version of Facebook Groups easily and make it convenient to convert. This new tool for easy conversion has only been promised yet, as Facebook claims that Group owners and members should soon look forward to hear about it in the near future.
Along with these updates only applied to the users who are owners or members of Groups, but there is also an addition which will affect all the entire large number of Facebook users. It has only been a year since the launch of its Like button, almost unbelievable since its success, Facebook is now introducing the newer tool called, Send button. This will allow any user to message any like they stumble upon their specific Friends.
It was made easier to understand as the announcement gives an example of “Say you’re on Orbitz and want to tell your roommates about a great idea for a summer vacation, or you come across a Huffington Post articles that you only want to share with people at work. With the new Send button, now you can share things with any of your Groups or individual friends on Facebook.”
Despite the Facebook Users encouragement of this Send button, the content providers are expecting to love it even more. Almost every other article links, blog posts or any such thing we see, we are every time tempted to be able to share them with specific people only, rather than displaying it your News Feed for all of your friends and family to watch. Now this is being possible as this new update is seemed to be quietly implemented in phases through rolling it out in the next few months. Most major websites are allowed to include this Send Button; including The Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, and The Huffington.
