Nokia Again Targets iPhone, iPad & More in Second ITC Complaint Made against Apple

This new and second lawsuit of Nokia focuses at Apple's iPhone, iPod, iPad and Mac lineup, accusing a company named Cupertino. Cupertino was the device maker of Apple, is being accused for violating patents of Nokia as the "key features" in Apple products are claimed to be infringing.
This last filing made to ITC now concludes that a total of 46 Nokia patents are in dispute with Apple. Paul Melin, vice president of intellectual property at Nokia, informed that many of these filed patent conflicts go even more than 10 years before Apple even made its first iPhone. He said that "Nokia is a leading innovator in technologies needed to build great mobile products and Apple must stop building its products using Nokia's proprietary innovation." However he did not mention at all for which specific patents are included in the latest filing.

This complaint is followed just few days after the initial ruling of the first complained filed by Nakia to ITC against Apple, which said that Apple did not infringe on those five Nokia patents. However, Nokia announced this Tuesday that it completely denies the ITC's initial decision and is waiting for the full details of the ruling to arrive as they start to move any further in that regard.
This legal battle between two giants like Nokia and Apple has started to spread immensely as Apple now has its own lawsuit against Nokia with the ITC. Just last December Nokia took a step further in this battle and also filed a patent infringement claim in the U.K., Germany and the Netherlands. Nokia claims that it is very hopeful and is expecting these overseas filings to come to trial soon in the coming months.
