Famous novelists Hilary Mantel and Gerad Woodward dominate the short listings of the British short story prize along with four other writers.
Other nominees for The Sunday Times EFG Private Bank Short Story Award include several other writers; namely Anthony Doerr from American, Yiyun Li from China, Will Cohu from and Roshi Fernando from Britain.
This award is worth of 30,000 pounds, which make like $48,245, and is considered the best prize for short stories all over the world. Major Judges of the event are AS Byatt and Will Self. The awards ceremony will take place after a dinner on the 8th of Apri,2011.
