#EntertainmentNews: A Stormtrooper Fight Ends Up In the Britain's Supreme Court

The company of George Lucas is still not done with the struggle and is now planning to appeal in the Britain's Supreme Court against a prop designer’s case over an iconic stormtrooper helmets which they claim are copied from the "Star Wars" films.
Lucasfilm Ltd. has also made several unsuccessful attempts in the past as well, in order to prevent Andrew Ainsworth from selling the duplication of those costumes online. Whereas, it is interesting to notice that Ainsworth actually sculpted the costume and helmets of the galactic warriors' back in 1977 for the original "Star Wars" film.

Previously The High Court has once ruled against them, back in 2008 when the court decided that the costumes are not any works of art at all and hence shall not be treated by the British copyright law. A Court of Appeal filed in the very next year held up the decision, so now Lucasfilm is appealing the Supreme Court this time to try to rule on whether U.S. copyrights on "three-dimensional works" can be enforced in England or not.
