#EntertainmentNews: Charles Jarrott, Famous British Director Passes Away At the Age Of 83

As reported by the spokesman of British director, Charles Jarrott, and confirmed by the Associated Press, the 83-year-old asset of in television and film industry has passed away. His career experience lasted almost five decades as he was most famous of his British royalty dramas including "Anne of the Thousand Days" and "Mary, Queen of Scots."
This news was called in on Saturday, as Jarrott passed away the night before since he was already suffering from prostate cancer. In his last days he was residing at the Woodland Hills retirement community which is a property of the Motion Picture & Television Fund, as informed by the organization's spokeswoman Jaime Larkin.

In the long list of credits, Jarrott had accomplished is his Golden Globe Award for the direction of Richard Burton as the Henry VIII in 1969's "Anne of the Thousand Days." Afterwards he stuck to his theme and directed several other same kind of movies like "Mary, Queen of Scots," along with plenty other movies till he finally directed his last feature film, titled  "Turn of Faith" with Charles Durning in 2002.
