At this exclusive time of his singing career, the American Idol contestant, Casey Abrams is out coping with his health issues. Casey was not present at this Thursday's elimination show because he has ulcerative colitis and was busy taking care of it, reports PEOPLE.
This is a condition which causes the affected severe abdominal pain and cramping, this illness was treated at a hospital in Los Angeles, where he received two blood transfusions that night. After the surgery, he tweeted: "Hey guys, thanks for the well wishes, I got some nice fresh blood in me and feeling better."
It was not the first time that the judges favorite contestant hat to visit the hospital since he started competing in the show. He later also tweeted that "People at Idol & Cedars are treatin me real good."
