This Thursday, The New York Times Co made an announcement stating that their revenue has declined a drastic fall of 3 percent in this fourth quarter. They claimed that this reflects the overall general industry-wide fall in the newspapers industry which is suffering more than ever.
It was disclosed that estimated total revenue of this year was almost around $661.7 million, skipping the predictions of the analysts, who execrated a little higher of up to at least of $666.1 million. This estimation was presented by to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.
Generally even the advertising revenue of the leading newspaper company, which both major newspaper of the time; The New York Times and the Boston Globe, has fell down of a 3 percent decline as well, if compared with the fourth quarter of year last years’ exact period.
