#EntertainmentNews: New appointments of 'The Office' after the dismissal of Steve Carell

Will Farrell, the dismissed actor

Who would have imagined that stars like Will Ferrell or Ricky Gervais will have something to do in “The Office” after the loss of Steve Carell? NBC made an announcement just last week declaring that Gervais, who is the actual creator and star of the original, British version of "The Office" is going to do a small role in the episode of tonight.

On the other hand, even bigger news than just a guest appearance was of Ferrell playing a proper role of a visiting branch manager which will last longer than a single episode but rather several episodes of this season. According to the news brought in by The Associated Press the character which is going to be played by Ferrell will probably by "just as inappropriate" as the pervious role of Carell's Michael Scott.
Carell had made the decision of quitting such a popular television series before the season ends leading to the great mystery of replace his role in the office, the manager of Scranton branch of the Dunder Mifflin paper company. Obviously, people suspiciously believe that maybe NBC is actually trying to see the public reaction, if they actually put in place Will Ferrell for that job. Though the reason why Carell, was pretty clearly stated as he wanted to pursue and concentrate more on his movie career, so in that case, Ferrell already has a very stable film career which is already in a very steady position. So until a proper unchallengeable announcement is made, the suspicion continues!
