Microsoft has announced to be soon releasing a software development kit which will be made public this spring, giving all the developers some discreet access to the technicalities behind this intriguing technology Initially it is announced to be only for personal use, but Microsoft has also claimed that later it is also intending to make a commercial release version very recently.

Kinect can easily be imagined as the technique to be virtually putting the player's body into the game controller. It is being considered as a real big hit since its first launch in this past November.
It has been a long time since it was the fantasy of the world class hacker community, as it is vastly been considered as a technology with numerous uses for the technology such as 3D photography.
This big announcement was made while during an open day at the Microsoft's research centre located near Seattle. The company is expecting this release to be a massive success of Kinect, as they are sharing the same technology which was made by its very own scientists themselves.
