HP Almost Verifies the Rumor of a webOS Tablet Coming Next Month

Just as the previous claims seem to become true, Fox has reportedly has claimed that HP is about to launch a webOS-based tablet. Though HP itself did not make any such announcement at all, but at the CES while taking  an interview with Hewlett-Packard executive vice president Todd Bradley gave them the reason to believe that there just might be an iPad competitor from the developer coming – February 9.

Bradley, while being interviewed by CNBC, was inquired regarding his company entering the market of tablets. He did not only exclaim that HP is “totally focused on the tablet market,” but also quoted that 9th of February will b expecting some sort of public announcement of the matter. Whereas when asked whether or not HP tablet can handle being a rival against Apple for its own market, Bradley responded, “You and I will talk about that on the ninth.”
No further specifications or details were discussed in the interview; but the news is firm that Bradley did admit that HP bought webOS last summer with the intention of tablet development in mind.
