#EntertainmentNews: Nationally Acknowledged Fitness Guru Passes Away At the Age Of 96

According to the reports published by New York Times the man referred to as the founder of the modern physical fitness movements, Jack LaLanne, passed away on this Sunday evening while he was at his home in Morro Bay, Calif. He is believed to be of 96-years of age. His son Dan Doyle gave details about reason of his death was explained to respiratory failures which lead to pneumonia.

This show was titled by his name as ‘The Jack LaLanne Show’ which was later transformed into another modern fitness show debuting somewhere around in 1951 as a local program in the San Francisco area. It did not take long for the show to be spread nationwide on daytime television in 1959, soon enough the suit of LaLanne was well recognized by the entire national audience. His tremendous success remained at its peace even till the mid-1980s and even reruns on ESPN Classic were also played.
51 years wife of LaLanne, Elaine, released a statement on the occasion of her husband's death through CNN, as she said "I have not only lost my husband and a great American icon, but the best friend and most loving partner anyone could ever hope for."
