#EntertainmentNews: Michael Douglas says tumor gone, recovery hopeful

Michael Douglas has claimed that his tumor is past now and that he is on his way to beat the throat cancer as well. He was giving a taped interview to the NBC's Matt Lauer when expressed his views regarding the relief after a "wild, six-month ride." Advertisement of this exclusive interview was aired on Monday while the entire interview went to air this Tuesday on "Today."
Douglas stated that the odds are that he has beaten the disease. He claimed that he has lost around 32 pounds and is now working out, but he has put on some 12 pounds back on as well. He aimed that he Is going to keep checking in with his doctors for monthly checkups for quite some time.

Douglas, who is now around 66 years of age, is a devoted actor who is now going to start his shooting again and is picking up on his last project of Steven Soderbergh's "Liberace" scheduled for May or June, with Douglas playing the title part. Douglas had achieved a nomination in Golden Globe for his previous performance in "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps."
